Turkey Burger Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2.6 lbs. of turkey meat
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 3tbls of BBQ sauce
  • 2tbls of A1 
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1tsp onion powder
  • 1tsp paprika
  • 1tsp of smoked paprika
  • 1tsp cayenne pepper

Step 1

Mix everything together in a bowl by hand. It's that simple! If the turkey meat is frozen then you have to defrost it dingus!  Wet your hands before mixing or wear a pair of latex gloves to prevent sticking.

Step 2

Divide the meat  into 8 patties.  I like to weigh the meat after mixing everything together and divide them evenly by 8.  This is not necessary you can just do it by eye.

Step 3

Broil the burgers on a cooking sheet lined with tinfoil for about 8 minutes a side. You can rotate them periodically  so they cook evenly.  If  grilling them I do them on medium high heat for 5 minutes a side.

Step 4

Let them rest for a few minutes then enjoy!  Serve with a side of sweet potato fries and a green leafy vegetable.
